Purists might want to pull Miles Apart off the
California Stories page before
beginning this series because the two main characters will show up
in Prairie Rose. However, it's perfectly fine to jump right
into the story with Uncharted Territory and then trail your
way through Hidden Crossing and end with Storm Path.
Each book features different main characters, but doesn't leave
earlier ones out—after all, in small towns, that's the way it is.
